Preparing for the Virtual Class:
- Determine where in your home you will do this. Make sure the space is clear of hazards and obstructions. I will be doing this in my garage, but I will assume that participants have only enough space for one or two lunge punches.
- Determine which electronic device you will use for the video conference. If you will be using a mobile device, download and install the Zoom app on it. If you will be using a desktop device, you can just run Zoom in a browser window. Your device should have a camera and a microphone so that we can all see and hear each other. If you are ambitious, you can cast the meeting from your device to a larger TV for better viewing. Apple devices can be mirrored to TVs using Apple TV, and Android devices can cast to TVs that support Chromecast.
- When it’s time to join the meeting, click on the meeting link I have provided. If you are running the video conference within a browser, click the “click here” link on the “Launching…” screen, then click “start from your browser”. We will all connect a few minutes before the start of the class.
- Please do some warming up on your own before the training starts. We will only be doing minimal warm ups during the session.
Hope to see you there!
